Subfloor Adhesives
Subfloors are commonly installed using PU adhesives, ensuring longevity of flooring installations and eliminating unnecessary squeaks. Subfloor adhesives must be durable enough to absorb the regular movement associated with shrinkage and expansion of timber substrates.
Applying a subfloor glue during the installation can really improve the overall strength and durability of your floor, creating a solid foundation. There are two main polyurethane technologies available within the Soudal range: Soudabond Timber and Joint & Joist D4 Wood Adhesive.
Installing Subfloors with Soudabond Timber
Soudabond Timber replaces the need for traditional mortar-based adhesives. This high strength, fast curing PU adhesive collapses into an gel immediately upon application, filling in any small irregularities to prevent squeaky floors. The quick and easy bonding solution saves time, effort and money.
